Brass Finishes

Our brass hardware is offered in a variety of hand-applied finishes, which set it apart from other brass hardware. Finishes will vary slightly and naturally from piece to piece. This is the beauty and characteristic of our hand-crafted hardware, and not a defect. Brushed Brass and Polished Brass have a wax coating, which make them living finishes.  These will age with exposure to air and touch. The other finishes are coated with a clear, water-based lacquer, which resists aging.
